Surviving God co-written with Susan Shaw was released a few weeks ago. Below is a short excerpt from the Introduction of Surviving God. We hope you get a chance to read our new book and use it in churches, study groups, classrooms, and book clubs.
After years of writing, editing, rewriting, copyediting….our new book, Surviving God co-written with Susan Shaw is finally born. What a wonderful day to celebrate the birth of our new book!
International Women’s Day is celebrated on March 8th to focus on the women’s rights movement. This day tries to bring to light the issues of gender equality, reproductive rights, and violence and abuse against women. These issues are all intersectional and therefore working on one means working on all the issues.

Surviving God co-written with Dr. Susan Shaw will be released March 26, 2024. We are very excited about the release of our book and we have done several podcast interviews and a book talk at Central Seminary with President Pam Durso.
A few years ago, I was honored to be invited by Central Seminary to be their commencement speaker. It was a wonderful event and I appreciated President Pam Durso’s visionary leadership and the wonderful faculty and staff at Central Seminary who welcomed me with warm hospitality and kindness.

People say, friends come and go and I have seen this throughout my life. Childhood friends become a distant memory and new friends can just become mere acquaintances.
