Happy Easter. He is risen!

During Easter 2024, we need to hear voices from the Holy Land. Below is an “Easter Vigil for Gaza 2024” from Rev. Dr. Munther Isaac who is a Lutheran Pastor in Bethlehem and Academic Dean of Bethlehem Bible College.

Also, listen to Rev. Dr. Mitri Raheb’s Easter reflection. He is the Founder and President of Dar al-Kalima University and the most published Palestinian Christian theologian with over 50 books. He was a recent guest on Madang Podcast to share his latest book, Decolonizing Palestine. Decolonizing Palestine is a must read book to understand what is happening in Palestine at this present time.

“During Israel’s genocidal assault, more than 3% of this dwindling Christian population has been killed in a greater proportion than the rest of the population of Gaza. In Jerusalem, violent extremist Israeli settlers are trying to force Christians out of their homes. Even before Oct. 7, our people and our churches have been firebombed, spat on and attacked with increasing frequency. Now, we see the mass killing of our people in Gaza. And we fear that, unless this horror is stopped now, we are next. 

We all need to speak out more about what is happening to innocent children and Palestinians who are dying under the rumble and dying of starvation. This cannot continue to happen in Gaza.
