3:00-3:50 Lecture   Healing Our Broken Humanity

We live in conflicted times. Our newsfeeds are filled with inequality, division, and fear. We want to make a difference and see justice restored, but how do we do this? This lecture will offer practices that can bring healing and hope to a broken world. Embodying these practices enables us to be the new humanity, so the church and world can experience reconciliation, justice, unity, peace, and love. Discover how to bring real change to a dehumanized world.

7:00-7:50 Lecture   A Theology of Visibility

Invisibility persists throughout the Asian American story. Invisibility is not only a racial and cultural issue, but also a profound spiritual issue. This lecture seeks to understand how marginalized and oppressed groups can become empowered by working toward a Theology of Visibility. A Theology of Visibility uplifts the voiceless and empowers the invisible, moving beyond experiences of oppression and toward claiming their space in the kingdom of God.

Dr. Kim’s books Healing Our Broken Humanity and Invisible

will be available at the end of each lecture for purchase and signing.
