What is going on??? Charlottesville and North Korea: Where do we go from here?
This past week it appeared as if the aggressive talk and posture of President Trump was going to lead us into a conflict with North Korea…and China…and, maybe, Russia…And, perhaps, potentially, World War III…
Now it seems as though the hate aimed abroad is exploding at home…
Saturday, the “alt-Right”, led by David Duke, White nationalist leader Richard Spencer, neo-Nazis, White nationalists, KKK members and like-minded sympathizers, held a “UNITE THE RIGHT” to “Take America Back” rally in Charlottesville, Virginia—the home of Thomas Jefferson…
They gathered there to protest the planned removal of the statue of Confederate General Robert E. Lee from what has now been re-named EMANCIPATION PARK—it was historically LEE PARK…
Protesters were met by counter-protesters—and, shockingly, a 20 year-old White man, James Alex Fields, drove his car forwards and backwards AT FULL SPEED into the counter-protesters, killing one woman, and injuring at least 19 other anti-racism protesters…
