American Academy of Religion (AAR) holds elections every year to elect new members to the AAR Board.

I am so excited to be one of the newest At-Large Director at the AAR. I join a great team of other board members. I am very honored to be working with such a wonderful group of board members.

SRER Inaugural Meeting

The first inaugural meeting for the “Society of Race Ethnicity and Religion” took place April 26-28, 2013 at Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago and McCormick Theological Seminary.

We had a large gathering of graduate students, professors, scholars and activists who attended, participated and contributed to this inaugural meeting.
