untitled psyPsy’s new song, “Gentleman” may be just what the world needs after all the negative rhetoric coming from North Koreas’ Kim Jong-un.  Kim Jong-un has filled our news headlines for quite some time now.  His threats of missiles and wars have brought world leaders to take him more seriously than in the past.  It has even motivated U.S. Secretary of State, John Kerry to make a visit to South Korea, China and Japan in hopes of garnering enough support from them to deter an attack from North Korea. The music video “Gangnam Style” is mesmerizing and addictive. It has lots of color, action, comedy and scene changes. It is entertaining even if you do not speak or understand Korean.

Psy’s video has drawn mass attention by Americans and those in the Western world. “Gangnam Style” has hit No. 2 on the U.S. Billboard chart. It now holds the Guinness World Record for “most liked” video. Continue reading →

By now many of you may have seen Psy’s music video “Gangnam Style”.  You may have also read articles about Psy and his music video.  No? Good. Mine will be your first.

When I first watched the music video “Gangnam Style”,  I was embarrassed by this not-so good looking Korean man rapping and dancing.

However, the more I watched it, the more I enjoyed it and appreciated the genuine  creativity that went into the song, the choreography, and the music video. Continue reading →
