Like many Americans, I couldn’t sleep last night.  It was a tense election with so many things at stake.  As a Canadian, my kids are used to me telling them that if the other candidate wins, we may have to move back to Canada. Not that I need to as I am living in the U.S. with a green card, but because the vision of the 2 candidates are so different. So the kids asked again before they went to bed last night, “do we have to move back to Canada?”

Social Issues are Economic Issues

Most people are now probably tired of hearing about the politics as the elections are very close and the campaigning has been too long.  What I am tired of hearing is whether this election is about either ‘social issues’ or the “economy”?  Is there a real difference between the two?
