I went to COP27 as a WCC delegate and below is a reflection, “Faith Communities at COP27” posted by the WCC. This piece is on the importance of faith communities to be present at COP27 and the need to fight for climate justice.

COP27 is being held 7-18 November, in the cradle of civilization: the magnificent Egypt. During the first week of COP27, the Interfaith Liaison Committee gathered for a coordination meeting.  The platform is co-chaired by the World Council of Churches through which many partners can relate to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change during climate talks.
