I am reposting Rev. Dr. Don McKim’s blog called, “The Name of Mercy” which was originally posted in Gathering Voices .  “A while ago, I wrote on “Mercie” focusing on the seventeenth-century English theologian John Downame (1571-1652).  God’s “mercie” is sure, since mercy is one of the attributes of God, expressing God’s nature and being.” (For the full blog click here).
