P1000959-001-238x300My friend and co-editor of EFSR, Dr. Kate Ott writes numerous blogs and posts.  Read this one about the ethics of the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. It is a repost from the FSR website.

For a few years, various organizations have promoted “cold water challenges” that couple dosing friends with requesting donations. In summer

indexMy son is organizing a non-profit organization with his friends called, “We Must Be Heard”.

Their mission is “to empower teens around the world to be heard through social media and activism. Teens today have the largest voice that has ever been possible, being that a single tweet can reach millions of eyes in nanoseconds. We want to know how teens, like you, use their social media and what platforms they use. Our goal is to make it possible for our generation to make a real impact in the world by having our voices heard through social media.”

DSC_0599This is my daughter’s blog about our recent last minute trip to Bermuda.  Hope you enjoy it.

The trip was last minute and I was very glad to be going. We spent three days on the cruise ship to get to Bermuda, three days in Bermuda, and two more days to go back home. I went with only my mom, Josh, and my cousins’ family because my dad and Theo had plans. I missed them a lot throughout the trip but I still enjoyed the week. Continue reading →
