Merry Christmas to all.

Christ is born.

Last night, we had a lovely Christmas Eve service. The service had all our favorite Christmas hymns which I wish we can sing all year round and a beautiful candle lighting.

Christ came into the world to give us light. Christ is the light and the Prince of Peace. We need to allow Christ to come into our lives so that we can gain peace and live in peace.

Here is the Christmas Eve service at Presbyterian Church of Catasauqua.

This morning, I preached on the lineage of Jesus from the Gospel of Matthew. Matthew mentions 72 father and 4 mothers. That is a significant number of difference in mothers verses fathers in the lineage of Jesus.

Jesus’ lineage is not all perfect people. We see murderers, prostitute, and unkind people. But this is the lineage that God uses to bring the Savior into the world. God can use anyone of us, the good, the bad and the awful.

It is God’s good news to us that we come before Christ and worship Christ.
