I am honored to be invited to do a talk and be on a panel at The Justice Conference Australia.
ANNOUNCING THE JUSTICE CONFERENCE GLOBAL DIGITAL EVENT!

In 2021 we invite you to unite. To come together, to worship, pray, learn and listen to one another. The Justice Conference family is bringing you a truly global conference like we’ve never offered before. Eleven countries, 24 hours, one conference!

I will be doing a spotlight talk: Intersectional Theology and Justice:
Intersectional Theology and Justice
This workshop will explore how Intersectional Theology leads us to the work of social justice and moves us toward the kin-dom of God which calls us to embrace one another. Rooted in the concept of intersectionality, Intersectional Theology challenges us to imagine and create an intersectional church that practices welcome and inclusion rooted in an ecclesiology that embraces difference and centers social justice. Intersectionality is a tool for analysis, developed primarily by black feminists, to examine the causes and consequences of converging social identities (gender, race, class, sexual identity, age, ability, nation, religion) within interlocking systems of power and privilege (sexism, racism, classism, heterosexism, ableism, ageism, nativism). This analysis leads to engaged, activist work toward social justice.

I will also be on a panel: Gender Equality

Only ten days to go!!! Wishing you the very best of luck with the conference but particularly your sessions!!! 🙂
