Below is a letter from the Rev. Dr. Myong Kim who is the 2014 Conference Coordinator for Korean American Presbyterian Clergywomen. We hope you can share this letter with friends and family who may be interested in our annual conference.
Dear Sisters in Ministry,
On behalf of the Korean American Presbyterian Clergywomen (KAPCW),I bring greetings to you! KAPCW was organized in 1991; since then, a group of Korean American women clergy and those seeking ordination have been gathering annually to celebrate our common ministry in Jesus Christ and to be a supportive network for our Sisters in Ministry.
This year we will be gathering around the theme “To Journey Within.” We will spend time exploring concepts of Imago Relationships and how they relate to us as women in various ministry settings. Our Keynote Speaker, Dr.Maria Fleshood, is an Imago Relationship Therapist who helps people understand their image as it relates and integrates with others.
I would like to invite all of you who are Korean American clergywomen, seminarians, or to be ordained to come to the gathering:
What: 2014 KAPCW Annual Conference
When: June 3-6 (Tuesday-Friday), 2014
Where: Union Presbyterian Seminary
in Richmond VA 3401 Brook Road Richmond, VA23227
Please register by April 15,2014 to avoid a late fee. The final registration date is May 15, 2014. In addition, financial aid is available for those who need assistance (see attached Registration and Financial Aid Forms and Guidelines). If you are making flight arrangements, please arrive at Richmond VA International Airport (RIC) by 3 p.m.on June 3. More travel information will be sent to you when we receive your registration.
