The host of the Show, “Reflections” is Rev. Dr. Marcia Theadford. She holds a weekly radio show program with guests from all walks of life. She has been an ordained minister of the Gospel since 1995. She has earned a Master degree in Education from Texas Christian University; Seminary credits toward a Masters of Pastoral Counseling degree from Moravian Theological Seminary and earned a Doctorate in Ministry from Drew University School of Theology. She has been involved in ministry for most of her life, starting at the age of thirteen when she formed a teen ministry for girls, called, “I’m A Teenager Lord, Now What!” Her unique presentation of the Gospel has enabled her to minister to various denominations and organizations while demonstrating the awesome power of God’s love to save, deliver and set people free from the grips of the enemy. Through her “Gathering of Friends Ministry,”the Lord has enabled her to produce a TV ministry, “Conversations with Marcia” and a Women’s bible study,“Iron Sharpens Iron.” She is the Program Manager and Co-owner of Agape Internet Radio Broadcasting Network.
This Monday, we will have special music and I will hold a discussion on “Women and the Church”. The talk is entitled “Women of the 21st Century Church: Place, Position and Prominence.” This is an important topic for many of us in the church as we struggle to understand women’s roles and women’s leadership. I will discuss it from a Biblical as well as from a cultural perspective.
I hope many of you can join us this coming Monday.
