Switzerland
There is no such thing as a “free lunch.” I am giving a talk, “Korean Churches and their Theological Journey” at the World Council of Churches (WCC) and participating in the “Working Group on Climate Change” (WCC) meeting from May 16-18, 2003 (Bossey Institute and Ecumenical Centre, Switzerland).
I am taking my youngest son to the meeting. As part of the agreement to tag along mom, he needs to do some research on Switzerland. Here is his research…..

In May, my mom and I are going to Switzerland. Switzerland is a country in Europe. It is one of the richest countries in the whole world.
Switzerland consumes more chocolate than any other country. On average each Swiss eats 29 lbs. of chocolate each year. Switzerland is known for inventing the carousel, bonsai tree, and Football (soccer).
The food there is very similar to ours. They have carrot cake, pasta, bread, cinnamon cookies, Swiss brownies and more.
When we arrive I want to see the flower clock. The flower clock is a symbol of Geneva. I would also like to go to Le Jet d’Eau the world’s largest water fountain shooting water amazingly 460ft in the air. I would mostly want to visit the Museum of Natural History. `
If you share this post, I will return from Switzerland with a box of chocolate for you! I know you will look forward to this!
I am really excited to travel with my mom. It is so special to just be with my mom for one week. It is like a big adventure; to see another part of the world with my mom.
I have traveled a lot with my mom. My mom took me to Hawaii, Canada, Spain, Italy, France….just to name a few.
I know you all wish you can come with us…maybe next time.

Joshua: Keep the good work of writing.I wish you a pleasant stay in Switzerland and may your wishes come true: visiting Le Jet D’Eau,Museum of Natural History and other interesting places for breath-away.Last but not the least, remember to share with us. “Be our eyes.”
I am having lots of fun in Geneva. It is beautiful here. Thank you.
Well done, Joshua! Hope you have a great trip!
I am having a good time! Thank you for looking at my blog.
Joshua, enjoy Switzerland and all the adventure it has to offer. I look forward to an update on your research paper. What a wonderful blessing to travel with your mom, learn about other countries, their people, and their culture. Maybe you could convince your mom to make “chocolate” your traveling theme. You get to tag along with mom on all trips that lead to a chocolate country. 🙂 Be sure to check out their cheese. Or our has it, it’s holy. Or would that be holey?
I would like to try the cheese. I think its holey. I like to go traveling with my mom!
